Where are you located?

At Good Lead Dog Training, we offer personalized in-home training throughout the Greater Houston area, focusing on providing a luxury, one-on-one experience for both you and your dog. By training in the comfort of your own home, we address behavioral challenges in the environment where they occur, allowing us to tailor solutions that work specifically for your dog’s needs. We also offer training in public places like parks and cafes for a well-rounded approach to socialization.

For our board and train programs, your dog stays in our trainer's home, receiving full-time care and hands-on training in a calm, controlled setting. This immersive experience focuses on addressing specific behaviors, helping your dog build a strong foundation for success in both familiar and new environments.

What’s your pricing?

Investing in dog training is one of the best decisions you can make for your dog’s future and your relationship with them. Every dog is unique, which is why we offer customized training programs tailored to your dog’s temperament and your specific goals. Training isn’t a quick fix — it’s a long-term investment that pays off with better behavior, stronger bonds, and a happier, more well-adjusted dog. Our comprehensive programs, which include personalized sessions and group classes, start at $800, and are designed to provide lasting results that improve your dog’s life for years to come.

How long does training take?

The length of training depends on your dog’s training goals and the recommended program. Private lessons are typically scheduled 1-2 weeks apart from each other. So a 4-lesson program would cover the span of 1-2 months. We generally recommend at least 6 lessons for any kind of behavior modification training.

Dog training is a long-term commitment that requires consistency and dedication. The effort you put in directly impacts the results you see. By investing time, patience, and energy into training, you'll build a strong foundation for lasting behavior changes and a deeper bond with your dog. It's a journey, and the rewards are well worth the commitment.

What kind of training do you do?

We specialize in working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and behavior challenges. We use a science-based, positive reinforcement approach to ensure your dog learns in a supportive, encouraging environment. Our programs include private lessons for a tailored 1-on-1 experience, group classes for socialization in a structured setting, and drop-off training for families seeking a more immersive, time-efficient solution. We believe in building a custom training plan that fits both your dog’s needs and your lifestyle, so you can achieve lasting results and a stronger bond with your furry companion.
